Painting by Pablo AmaringoFourteen years ago, Mary Ann Eddowes felt the urgent need to discover her true essence, wondering why she was here and what her mission in this life was… and in the path of questioning she encountered Grandfather Wachuma and Grandmother Ayawaska… they gave her all the answers. Since then, Aeli Ronin Yaka, spiritual name given to her by these Master Plants, she assumed the mission and commitment to help other human beings, in love for our Pachamama and all that inhabits it.
Aeli Ronin Yaka runs healing ceremonies with Grandfather Wachuma (Trichocereus Pachanoi) as well as the purification rite of Sweatlodge and performs individual and group healing sessions, harmonizing the person using Condor feathers to cleanse the energetic field, rattles and other wind and percussion instruments to level and unblock the points of energy in the Human Universe through vibration, through sound, and mainly sacred chants to heal and harmonize the person. She also uses crystals, flower essences and essential oils, reiki and massage techniques, among other elements. The sacred dance she performs, energetically harmonizes and cleanses people and spaces.
Aeli Ronin Yaka was founder member of Comunidad Tawantinsuyu in Peru, an organization dedicated to revalue Traditional Medicine. www.comunidadtawantinsuyu.org. In 2005 she begins organizing the International Forum on the Coca Leaf. At present, as Board member of the Peruvian Association of the Coca Leaf – APEHCOCA, she continues promoting and organizing these forums, always in defense of our Traditional Medicine. www.apehcoca.com
In 2007 Antonio Orjeda, journalist of “El Comercio” newspaper, produced a book titled “Mujeres Batalla” (Warrior or Battle Women) with interviews to empowered women in Peru, among which is Mary Ann, read more here. At present she is member of a non-profit organization named “Asociación de Mujeres Batalla”, dedicated to reinforce human values in society and help women and youngsters in the path to personal empowerment. In February 2006 she was interviewed at Yachay Keeper in Quechua Network.
