He practices now as a "espiritista Vegetalista" and also cures through prayers. He was taught these practies by his grand maestro and brother, Marcial Panduro Navarro, who has passed away. He is also the brother of the late Norma Panduro Navarro, the famous shaman from Iquitos. He as been working as a shaman/curandero for 44 years and began his studies when he was 20 years old.
