Es electo Dirigente Nacional del Magisterio En la UNAP-IQUITOS, dicta las cátedras de METODOLOGÍA DE LA INVESTIGACIÓN CIENTÍFICA, PEDAGOGÍA Y DIDÁCTICA, Es coautor junto con la Dra. NORA DE IZCUE FUCH y del Dr. JOSÉ MARÍA ARROYO Y ARROYO del libreto del largo metraje “EL VIENTO DEL AYAHUASCA” que se exhibe en todo el mundo.1993 es elegido PRIMER RECTOR de la UNSM. Construye más infraestructura, gana la batalla a dos alcaldes que pretendían dividir la CIUDAD UNIVERSITARIA con una “VIA DE EVITAMIENTO” en una acción antieducativa, se muestra duro cual acero con los poderes especiales que le concedió su Consejo Universitario, brinda con alegría y terquedad el Triunfo de la Educación Superior. Enfrenta un juicio de 6 años y es absuelto por la CORTE SUPERIOR DE MOYOBAMBA.
Funda 8 Facultades sobre la anémica cifra de 4 que recibió, descentraliza la Universidad a RIOJA, MOYOBAMBA y LAMAS, Gobierna con los 3 estamentos sin huelgas y amplio diálogo.Renuncia a la Rectoría sin concluír su mandato. Se dedica a seguir viajando por todos los Continentes invitado por Universidades para ofrecer conferencias sobre lo que es su ideal de vida “EL ESTUDIO DEL FENÓMENO SHAMÁNICO AMAZÓNICO”, expone en muchas Instituciones sus experiencias y descubrimientos sobre lo que vivió y practicó en diferentes tribus amazónicas. Desde que llegó a la Selva ALTA (TARAPOTO) en septiembre de 1981, apertura su modesto consultorio y da tratamiento gratuito. Atiende a enfermos extranjeros ahora en su CLÍNICA “SONCCO WASI INTERNACIONAL” de Morales. Cumplirá el 8 de septiembre 40 años de práctica médica Shamánica.
En 1,997 funda en EE.UU. la ESCUELA INTERNACIONAL DE SHAMANISMO AMAZÓNICO, en la actualidad tiene 42 alumnos de distintos países.
